meet mariiLang!
mariiLang started out by making something for herself
simply because she couldn’t find anything out there that she liked
5 years later, she finds herself as an aspiring designer, excited to be doing what she truly loves…
creatively designing handbags = fun, fun, fun!
Wonder how mariilang got started?
Her mom Lily and her aunt Grace were such amazing inspirations
(Lily made her Senior Prom dress and Grace made her wedding dress!)
it wasn’t hard to get bitten by the sewing bug
She started out simple when “back in the days @ Starbucks”, she sewed her first handbag
the kristybag, and soon after, it became a hit with all the girls at Black Angus
With all the support and kind words of her first loyal fans, she took the creative plunge!
As you can see, she has come a long ways, in both technique and design
She LOVES searching for the ‘diamond in the rough’ at fabric stores – eclectic prints,
designs & especially textures, and puts her heart and soul in to every piece she creates
So much, in fact, she can’t help but to think – for a split second – about keeping them for herself!
But that wouldn’t do any of us any good now, would it? ;o)
mariilang currently resides in Chicago with her greatest fan of all, her best friend ~ beelang.
